The BMW R 1250 GS Exclusive TE radiators have aluminium cooling fins and internal cores containing pumped coolant – the fins easily bend and can block the passage of air, which could lead to overheating. Also, the core can be holed by debris, such as a stone. This is usually the result of debris being picked up by the bike’s front tyre or a bike \/ car in front and flung directly into the radiator.
